Did you hear about the Jesus pancake(s)? That's the first one reported 9 February. By the way, if you have some  $15,000, you can still bid on this on E-bay! But reports say that this is a fraud, an elaborate ruse to sell a new product called the JesusPan. No takers?

Then there's the other Jesus pancake. 

Fraud?

Who actually cares?

My tea smiled at me today!

Here it is, the namesake of this blog. Smiling tea. Taken sometime in September 2006 at our house, I had just made up this batch of lemon tea, jampacked with lots of ice cubes and lemon slices. Left it on the table, was about to go upstairs when this catches my eye. Double take. Yep, unmistakeably, definitiely, a smiley in my tea!
